1. Asian Techniques
We all know Asian cultures have the best techniques and exercises that bring peace and calm to the body and mind. So, if you’re not quite a person who is into hard workout, these techniques are perfect for you if you only want to relieve some stress or a common pain as it is back pain.
- Qigong: It is a Chinese technique that mixes both physical and spiritual energies through soft movements and meditation. Most experts assure that the daily practice of this technique provides an improvement that on a long term gives a prolonged and healthy lifestyle.
The suggested exercises in Qigong are simpler than you think; these include: a breathing exercise inhaling slowly, holding the air from 3-4 seconds and exhaling long and slow from 4-6 seconds, this helps to oxygenate the brain and the circulatory system; a pretty easy warming up exercise to start the day, just bend your knees slowly trying to keep the equilibrium in that position, then start moving your arms back and ford, side to side to relax the body.
- Katzyko’s System: Katzuko Nishi, an engineering and Aikido teacher who made plenty of studies about techniques to improve your health and have a prolonged life. Some of the exercises he recommends are the following:
Use a roller or a hard pillow, which will prevent neck scoliosis; and exercise your capillary circulation laying on the floor and raising your arms and legs slightly bending elbows and knees, then shake them softly.
- Yoga: We all know yoga and the reputation it has, not for the least. Of course, this technique is one of the best for body and mind health. Practicing yoga will improve your posture, elasticity, equilibrium and resistance.
One common exercise is back stretching; you can practice it at least once a day; you can start by standing straight with your feet shoulder-width part and slowly bend looking forward until your hands reach your toes, then slowly go back to the initial position, always remembering to breathe calmly. You can do this exercise for 10 seconds repeating it 4-6 times. This helps your posture and stimulates the kidneys.
2. Face Massages
It is known that wrinkles are the most common discomfort people have, mostly when they’re still at a young age and wrinkles start appearing already. But early wrinkles can be due to many reasons. Stress and low hydration on the skin tends to be the main reason for wrinkles appearance, so in order to prevent early aging on the skin it is necessary to find the source of the stress.
However, there are things you can do to improve a stress relief routine; in this way, you will be able to canalize stress and tiredness in a very noticeable way and as a result avoid an early aged skin. We’re talking about face massages and face exercises that will help the blood and lymph circulation helping the hydration of your skin to prevent the ugly wrinkles.
There is an Asian technique for face massages done with spoons. Yes, spoons; so, all you need is two spoons and a little bit of coconut oil. Grab a small amount of coconut oil for your face and then start pressing with the spoons from the center of your forehead to your temples, from the bridge of your nose to your ears and from your checks to your ears again. Repeat this 4-5 times.
If you want to get rid of the bags under the eyes, all you need to do is place two cold spoons above and under your eyes, then tap with your fingers like playing the piano with a cold cream; this will help to lower the swollen skin. Practice these massages every morning and every night, you’ll see they’re way more effective than any anti-wrinkle cream or treatment.
