4-Learn to say “no”
Saying no is one of the most difficult things to do, but it’s also one of the most important things you can learn to do for your mental strength.
When you’re constantly saying yes to every request, you end up wearing yourself down. You also start to feel like you’re not in control of your own life, which can be really frustrating.
But when you learn how to say no, you take back that control and set better boundaries for yourself. You become more selective with the things you agree to do, and you make sure that the things you do agree to are actually worth your time and energy.
This makes you stronger mentally because it shows that you have self-respect and know your limits.
However, this doesn’t mean that you should start saying no to everything. Just be more mindful of the things you agree to do, and don’t be afraid to turn down requests that are too demanding or won’t add anything positive to your life.
